Charity Involvement

2018 has been an interesting year so far and has marked for me the beginning of collaborations with charities such as BBC Children In Need, Barnardo's and Kawasaki Fund.

Being part of a prime time TV Show has certainly opened those news doors and it always feels great to give back and help the others when we are lucky to do the things we love and want in life.

It all started to happen when we all performed with my fellow judges of the show 'All Together Now' (that aired between January and March on BBC One if you haven't watched it!) at the fashion event from the 'Fashion Collective London' in support of BBC Children In Need at The Hilton Waldorf.

Here are a few pictures taken by photographer www.baz.london/

Following the success of the first series, we all gathered in support of Barnardo's and recorded a song called 'Somebody Help Me' written by talent judge Jordan Charles. After promoting the song on London Live TV and other local press, the single launch took place at the Pizza Express in Holborn. A wonderful way for us to share our love and support to children who need it!

The single is available on itunes, Spotify, and on all platforms:

And finally, I have started a collaboration with Kawasaki Fund, which raises awareness about a rare heart condition that affects young children; I've been wearing dresses made by Dee Izmail (who dressed anyone from the Spice Girls to Destiny's Child!) at several events that have been featured in fashion magazines. Dee has created the charity because of what she has been through with her children, and it's a pleasure to help generate interest in her work.
